Our verdict on palmap
palmap is a free, browser-based interactive map for Palworld players who want to track exploration, research Pals and items, or plan breeding. It covers the Palpagos Islands and World Tree, with marker categories for collectibles, resources, spawn points, dungeons, and other locations. Browser-based progress tracking lets users mark locations as found and review completion by marker family, while mobile web access supports use across supported browsers.
Its strongest area is the way map progress connects with reference material. Pal and item wiki pages include stats, drops, spawns, recipes, and uses, and search works across Pal and item content. The site also links into information on breeding, technology, fishing, chest loot, base camps, and merchants. For players focused on completion or breeding research, the breeding calculator, per-family checklists, and Pal spawn heatmaps add useful depth. Day and night filtering makes the heatmaps more specific to spawn conditions.
palmap also supports export and import of progress, along with a beta Palworld save-import feature. Surface switching and searchable content help keep the experience centered on a single research workspace. The trade-off is specialization: it is not designed around route planning, and custom marker verification is not part of its feature set. Players who want a focused Palworld checklist, wiki, map, and breeding reference should pick palmap. Those looking for broader planning tools or a native app should consider an alternative.
