OVHcloud CDN review
A low-cost CDN with broad domain support, core caching controls, and practical traffic tools.

OVHcloud CDN is a managed content delivery network for websites and web applications. It suits teams that need core CDN infrastructure across multiple domains without a broad application-edge feature set. The service can work with websites and applications hosted on OVHcloud dedicated servers, VPSs, or other cloud providers. Configuration is available through the OVHcloud Control Panel or APIs, making it relevant for both operational teams and teams managing CDN settings programmatically.
The published plan structure is straightforward: CDN Infrastructure costs £9.89 ex. VAT per month, billed monthly. It includes up to 1,000 domains or subdomains, 10 backend origin-server IP addresses, 10 custom cache rules per domain, one dedicated Anycast IP, a 1 TB initial outgoing-bandwidth credit, and a managed Let's Encrypt SSL certificate. Core delivery controls include cache purging by rule and domain, Gzip and Brotli compression, anti-DDoS protection, traffic statistics, and real-time logs. Additional prepaid bandwidth is available when the included credit is not enough.
Its main strength is breadth across basic CDN operations rather than specialized edge capabilities. Multiple domains, origin configuration, cache rules, SSL management, logging, and API access cover the needs of many standard web properties and applications. Teams looking for image optimization, video delivery, origin shielding, or edge compute should choose a service with those capabilities instead. OVHcloud CDN is a practical fit for budget-conscious organizations that prioritize domain capacity and essential caching controls over advanced media and edge tooling.
