Outerbase Studio review
A free, focused database client for browser-based SQLite and SQL work.

Outerbase Studio is an open-source database GUI for developers working with SQL databases. It runs in a browser and has downloadable Windows and macOS desktop applications. The client supports LibSQL, SQLite, Cloudflare D1, rqlite, StarbaseDB, Val.town, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Its core audience is developers who want a lightweight interface for querying, editing, and organizing SQL data without moving to a larger database management suite.
The strongest part of Studio is its practical editing workflow. Its SQL editor includes autocomplete and function hints, while multiple queries can be executed with their results displayed together. Data changes can be edited, filtered, and staged before committing, which gives users a review step before updates are applied. The schema editor supports creating and modifying table columns, and the foreign-key picker, row-detail sidebar, and local or server-based connection management add useful context during database work. Multiple SQL files can also be created and organized within the client.
Studio is a focused choice rather than a broad database platform. SQLite-related targets receive the clearest fit, while the project labels MySQL and PostgreSQL support as beta with limited features. Its free, open-source model and browser support suit individual developers and teams that value a lightweight client across web and desktop environments. Choose Studio for SQL editing, staged data changes, schema work, and local or server connections; choose a broader client if you need deeper coverage or more mature features across MySQL and PostgreSQL.
