Our verdict on OrderOut
OrderOut brings delivery marketplace and direct online orders into a restaurant’s POS and kitchen workflow. It is aimed at restaurants that want orders from supported channels normalized into POS tickets, with menu and availability synchronization across channels. Small restaurants looking for low-friction order routing may find its combination of POS connections and kitchen printer routing relevant; restaurants needing multiple locations on the Essential plan should look elsewhere or consider Premium.
The published plans start with Free, which covers one location, one POS connection (Clover or Square), and one delivery channel, plus menu and availability sync, Basic AI Mode, and community support. Essential keeps the one-location limit while adding unlimited channels and POS connections, cross-platform menu sync, Full AI Mode, email and chat support, and instant menu push. Premium adds unlimited locations, role-based access and scoped AI Mode, unlimited automation rules, custom reports and integrations, priority support, and unlimited users. API and enterprise/platform offerings use custom pricing. This tier structure makes Free a way to cover a narrow operation, while broader multi-location needs point to Premium.
OrderOut connects with Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub, ChowNow and Wix, as well as POS systems including Clover, Square, Pecan POS, Truffle, Basil POS, Paradise POS, Muncho and EkiKart POS. Its REST integration API and signed webhooks support technology partners, while delivery dispatch quoting and booking are available via API. AI Mode drafts operational changes for merchant approval, and unified reporting covers order sources. The breadth of integrations and routing options suits restaurants consolidating supported ordering channels; buyers who need several locations without moving to Premium, or depend on integrations outside this ecosystem, should consider another fit.
