Our verdict on Ordare
Ordare provides restaurants and cafés with custom-branded iOS and Android apps connected to Square. Its core offering combines in-app online ordering for pickup and scheduled orders with loyalty points, tiers and rewards, push order updates, campaigns, promotions, menu management, analytics, order history and multi-location controls. Ordare builds, publishes and maintains the branded app, while restaurant orders and catalog data synchronize with the Square account. It is aimed at operators that want a branded mobile ordering channel rather than a narrowly focused ordering widget.
Pricing is modular. The Branded app plan costs $149 per month and includes a custom iOS and Android app, online ordering, loyalty and rewards, campaigns and push marketing, unlimited locations and menu items, analytics and order history. Kitchen Display costs $129 per year and adds real-time order tickets, order statuses, station routing and a new-order chime. TV Menu Displays adds a $129 device cost per TV, while its subscription costs $9 per device per month and includes catalog synchronization, custom layouts and themes, and day-part support. This structure can suit restaurants that need selected operational modules, but the app cost and add-ons raise the total beyond the core plan.
