Oracle Database@Google Cloud brings Oracle database services into Google Cloud data centers on OCI Exadata infrastructure. It is designed for organizations running enterprise Oracle workloads that want database services alongside Google Cloud networking, identity, management, and monitoring tools. The portfolio includes Exadata Database Service on dedicated infrastructure, Autonomous AI Database, Base Database Service on VM-based infrastructure, and Exadata Database Service on Exascale Infrastructure. These options cover fully managed, co-managed, VM-based, and Exadata deployment models.

Pricing is paid and uses hourly and storage-based billing units. There is no free plan. The service portfolio is broad, so the appropriate option depends on the desired management model and infrastructure type. Autonomous AI Database includes automated provisioning, backups, patching, tuning, and scaling, while Exadata services provide dedicated or Exascale infrastructure choices. Base Database Service provides a VM-based option. This range suits teams that need to align database operations with a specific Oracle deployment model, but it also means buyers must evaluate more than one service family rather than selecting a single universal tier.

Google Cloud integration is a central part of the offering. Customers can provision and manage resources through Google Cloud Console, Google Cloud CLI, or APIs, connect through ODB Network to Google Cloud VPC networks, and use Google Cloud IAM for access management. Monitoring covers logs, metrics, events, and diagnostics. Autonomous Data Guard and backup-based disaster recovery add options for availability and recovery planning. Google Cloud customers with Oracle workloads should consider this product when they want Oracle services integrated with Google Cloud operations. Organizations seeking an open-source database platform, a free starting tier, or a narrower single-service experience should choose another approach.
