Optimum Control brings restaurant inventory management and recipe costing together for independent restaurants, multi-unit chains, and leisure and entertainment operators. Its scope includes inventory counts, prep and menu recipe costing, purchasing, invoices, menu analysis, and reporting, with Windows desktop, iOS, and Android platforms. Operators looking to connect recipe costs to stock and purchasing workflows may find the breadth useful; teams seeking only a lightweight recipe calculator may prefer a narrower tool.

Recipe tools cover prep and menu recipes, yield scaling, ingredient-cost updates from invoices and supplier pricing, and menu profitability reporting. The system also supports supplier orders and invoice processing, and its reports include more than 70 options. POS integrations include Aloha, Heartland, Micros, PAR PixelPoint, TouchBistro, and others; supplier and accounting integrations are also part of its stated scope. That combination suits restaurants that want costing tied to operational inventory and sales systems, though buyers should check that their specific POS and accounting setup fits the available connections.

Published monthly prices list OC Pro, which includes OC Mobile, at $150; OC Enterprise, also including OC Mobile, at $180; and OC Premier at $300. Premier includes five revenue centers, three workstations, and SQL Express database software. OC Mobile is listed separately at $25 per month. There is no free plan, so the subscription cost is a meaningful consideration for smaller operations. Pick Optimum Control when recipe costing needs to work alongside inventory, purchasing, and mobile controls; look elsewhere if a free or lower-cost standalone costing tool is the priority.
