OpsX review
Focused Windows endpoint control with staged patching, remote support, and audit logs.

OpsX is an on-premises endpoint management platform from LisaSoft for organizations managing Windows devices. It is aimed at IT teams that need inventory, patch control, remote support, and asset administration in one Windows-focused toolkit. The vendor describes it as designed for environments with several hundred endpoints, and says it runs as a single-tenant installation on the organization's own server. Its agent collects hardware, operating-system, installed-software, patch, disk, and security-posture data for a dashboard.
The endpoint workflow spans more than inventory. Teams can stage patch rollouts with reboot windows and review per-endpoint results, while remote support uses MSRA, RDS Shadow, and RDP. Software deployment, a catalog, license-seat tracking, and device-to-user assignment cover common asset tasks. Per-user web-filter policies include applied-state verification, and endpoint telemetry plus Windows event-log collection add operational visibility. An append-only audit log records operations. This breadth makes OpsX relevant where administrators want a record of changes alongside endpoint control, rather than a narrow patch utility.
Deployment is the main fit constraint: endpoints must be domain-joined Windows devices, and the environment needs Active Directory and AD Certificate Services. The product is Windows-only, and the vendor explicitly places a continuously maintained third-party patch catalog out of scope, so teams relying on that capability should consider another option. Pricing is handled through contact with the vendor, with licensing unit and scope discussed against the customer environment. Email and documentation are the listed support channels, and two-factor authentication is the stated compliance-related feature. OpsX suits mid-market and enterprise teams with an on-prem Windows environment; organizations seeking multi-OS management or catalog-based third-party patching should look elsewhere.
