Our verdict on Opinew
Opinew is a Shopify product-review app for ecommerce merchants that need to collect, import, manage, and display customer feedback. It supports automated email and SMS review requests, photo and video reviews, review migration, storefront widgets, SEO rich snippets, review synchronization, and Google Shopping product-rating integration. Its broad import options suit stores bringing reviews in from AliExpress, eBay, CSV files, and supported review platforms. Merchants focused on Shopify review operations will find the feature set more relevant than businesses seeking a general-purpose survey tool.
Pricing starts with Starter at $19 per month, including 200 review-invitation email credits, a 500 imported-review limit, photo and video reviews, automated email invitations, and SEO rich snippets. Growth costs $89 per month and adds 1,000 email credits, 50 free SMS credits, a 5,000 imported-review limit, Google Shopping integration, and the full range of widgets. Advanced is $199 per month, with 2,000 email credits, 100 free SMS credits, a 30,000 imported-review limit, headless support, API access, and priority support. Enterprise starts at $499 per month and includes unlimited email credits and imports, Bazaarvoice syndication, a dedicated server, and custom widget development. A 14-day trial is available.
The ecosystem is a major part of Opinew’s appeal. Beyond Shopify, integrations include Klaviyo, Omnisend, LoyaltyLion, Smile.io, Zendesk, Gorgias, AfterShip, Weglot, PageFly, Gempages, Shogun, LimeSpot, and Wiser. Widgets and carousels support storefront display, while synchronization, structured data, Google Shopping, and API access extend review use across marketing and ecommerce workflows. Stores with modest review volumes may prefer the lower-cost Starter plan, but teams needing larger imports, SMS, headless support, or API access should budget for higher tiers. Businesses seeking a free product-review tool should choose an alternative.
