Our verdict on OpenHotel
OpenHotel is a cloud-based hotel property management system for independent hotels and hotel groups. Its offering ranges from a core PMS to channel management, yield tools and an enterprise portal, with reservation tracking, express check-in, housekeeping, maintenance and payment processing in the mix. That breadth makes it relevant to operators who want property operations and distribution in one system, particularly groups managing more than one hotel.
The plans scale by capability: Property Management System covers PMS features; PMS and Channel Manager adds channel management; and PMS, Channel Manager and Yield Manager combines all three. According to the vendor's pricing page, pricing is calculated based on room count, with room-based monthly pricing; the published page does not provide fixed amounts.
