Onsego GED is a self-paced preparation program for learners studying Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts. Its course combines short video lessons with transcripts, quizzes, and practice tests, including full-length timed readiness tests. A 1,500-question bank and reports on strong and weak areas give learners ways to direct further practice, while progress tracking supports ongoing study. The service is available through web, iOS, and Android, making it a fit for solo learners who want to study across devices rather than attend a class.
The published plans show one-time pricing: Advantage costs $79 and includes access to all four subject courses, video lessons, practice tests, the question bank, and progress tracking. Advantage Plus costs $119 and adds GED flashcards and Essay Checker while retaining the four courses and question bank. Advantage Pro costs $199 and includes Fast Mode, Score Booster Service, and practice tests with video explainers. The product details also list an AI Tutor and GED Ready practice test vouchers; flashcards are plan-dependent. This tier structure lets buyers choose based on study tools, but there is no free plan, so learners need to pay to start.
Onsego is preparation, not the official GED exam; the exam is administered through GED.com. That distinction matters for learners seeking practice and instruction rather than an exam registration option. Email, chat, and documentation are listed as support channels, and the stated refund period is 7 days. Choose Onsego if a four-subject course, mobile access, a large question bank, and timed readiness practice match your study needs. Look elsewhere if you need a free starting option or a service that administers the exam itself.
