OnlineTV is a media player and streaming aggregator for freely available television channels, radio stations, music videos, public-broadcaster media libraries, podcasts, audiobooks and webcams. It is designed for users who want live TV and radio alongside programme guides, timeshift, recording and organised channel lists. The application runs on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android devices, including Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, with web access also listed. OnlineTV does not provide its own content; it collects streams already available on the internet.
The licensing model is paid and one-time rather than subscription-based. A three-day full trial is available, with no unlimited free plan. The one-device plans cost €29.99 for one year, €49.99 for two years or €69.99 for three years. Three-device plans cost €49.99, €74.99 or €99.99 for one, two or three years respectively. The five-device option costs €69.99 for one year or €99.99 for two years. Each listed plan includes a licence valid across operating systems and updates during the licence period. The licence expires at the end of the selected term.
Its strongest fit is broadcast streaming rather than general-purpose local playback. Programme guides, live-TV rewind, immediate and scheduled recording, favourites, custom channel ordering, channel-list imports and subtitles when supplied by a channel give it a focused television workflow. Media libraries, podcasts, audiobooks, webcams, weather and warnings broaden the experience beyond live channels. Web, desktop and Android coverage suits households using several device types, while iPhone and iPad support is listed as in preparation. Choose OnlineTV if live streams, radio and recording are central; choose a general media player instead if local file playback is the main requirement.
