OnlineFaxService is a web-based fax service for individuals, teams, and businesses that need to send and receive documents online. It provides local or toll-free fax numbers, customizable cover pages, fax history with search and sorting, address-book management, scheduled sending, reporting, two-factor authentication, and API integration. Access is available through the web and API, with the service also advertising desktop, mobile, and tablet access.
Pricing is its clearest strength for low-volume users who can commit to annual billing. The Personal plan costs $4.99 per month when billed annually and includes 10 pages per month, a free local number, and additional pages at 25 cents each. Annual Business costs $7.99 per month for 500 pages, with additional pages at 5 cents each. Business Pro costs $29.99 per month annually for 5,000 pages, with additional pages at 2 cents each. Monthly pricing is $7.99 for Personal, $15.99 for Business, and $39.99 for Business Pro. A seven-day trial is available.
The feature set covers core online fax workflows without being limited to one-way sending. Users can receive faxes, port numbers, schedule transmissions, organize contacts, search fax history, and connect through the API. The vendor also advertises HIPAA-compliant faxing and provides two-factor authentication. The main constraint is volume at the entry level: 10 pages per month can be restrictive for regular fax activity, while overage charges may matter for Personal users. Low-volume individuals should consider Personal annual billing; teams and businesses sending hundreds or thousands of pages should compare Business or Business Pro instead.
