Olivasal is a video meeting platform for organizations that need hosted or self-managed conferencing. It combines real-time video, screen sharing, in-call chat, live captions, collaborative whiteboarding, recording, transcripts, AI summaries, scheduling, and calendar synchronization. Lobby controls, host transfer, co-host roles, moderation, and end-for-all controls support managed meetings. Its positioning fits education, legal, healthcare, finance, sales, and other privacy-sensitive or regulated teams that need more control than a basic meeting service provides.

The Free plan includes local recording, chat transcript export, and community support. Pro adds cloud recording, AI meeting summaries, end-to-end encryption, white-label branding, scheduled meetings, team room codes, and integrations. Enterprise is the operational tier for organizations requiring self-hosted or air-gapped deployment, self-hosted AI, SSO/SAML, audit logs, retention policies, dedicated infrastructure, and an SLA. Integrations include Google, Microsoft, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Zoho, and GitLab, while Google Calendar synchronization supports scheduling workflows.

Security and deployment control are Olivasal’s clearest differentiators. Meetings can use per-meeting end-to-end encryption, and Enterprise extends control through self-hosting, air-gapped deployment, multi-tenant administration, roles, moderation, audit logging, and retention policies. The encryption choice has a practical trade-off: enabling E2EE disables cloud recording and AI recaps, although local recording remains available. Teams should choose Olivasal when controlled deployment, privacy features, and administrative governance matter. Organizations needing broad native platform coverage or cloud recording and AI recaps alongside E2EE should consider a different fit.

Olivasal pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Per-meeting end-to-end encryption with local recording support
    • Enterprise self-hosted and air-gapped deployment options
    • Transcripts, AI summaries, action items, and searchable recaps
  • Where it doesn't
    • Platform coverage is limited to web and self-hosted use
    • Cloud recording and AI recaps are disabled when E2EE is enabled
    • Advanced controls such as SSO/SAML require Enterprise
