OhmGraphite is free, open-source software for collecting hardware sensor data on Windows and sending it to time-series systems. It uses LibreHardwareMonitor for hardware support and can collect CPU, GPU, motherboard, disk, memory, fan, network, and power metrics, subject to detected hardware. It suits administrators and technical teams that already work with Graphite, InfluxDB, Prometheus, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, or Grafana. It can run as a Windows service or interactively, making it suitable for persistent collection or direct operation.

OhmGraphite uses a free, open-source pricing model. The published offering does not present separate paid plans or commercial tiers. Its included capabilities cover exports to Graphite, InfluxDB and InfluxDB 2, a Prometheus exporter endpoint, and writes to PostgreSQL or TimescaleDB. Configuration includes polling intervals, exporter settings, sensor renaming and hiding, hardware-level disabling, and Prometheus HTTPS configuration. The software is available for Windows and includes remote monitoring as a category capability. Release v0.38.0 is dated June 3, 2026.

The main limitation is scope: OhmGraphite is a Windows collector rather than a complete monitoring suite. It does not provide verified alerting, so alert workflows need to come from the surrounding monitoring stack. Hardware coverage also depends on what LibreHardwareMonitor detects, and the product is limited to Windows. Choose an alternative if you need a broader operating-system footprint, built-in alert channels, custom sensor-definition capability, or a packaged commercial plan structure. For Windows environments that already have a metric store and visualization layer, OhmGraphite offers a focused way to export local hardware telemetry.
