OCCT is desktop software for testing PC stability, monitoring hardware, benchmarking performance, and validating systems. It is designed for gamers, PC enthusiasts, overclockers, system integrators, IT administrators, manufacturers, and technical support teams. The software runs on Windows and Linux and covers CPU, memory, GPU, VRAM, storage, and power-supply testing. Its tuning capability is focused on Intel CPUs, with per-core frequency controls.
The free Personal plan includes offline and portable use, stability testing, 3D testing, monitoring and system information, and benchmarking. The €4.50-per-month Supporter plan adds unlimited test duration, no wait time, test reports, and stability certificates. Supporter+ costs €7 per month and adds more certificate slots. Professional editions add commercial use, and the Pro plan includes unlimited test duration, CSV export, stability certificates, and offline and portable use. Enterprise adds a command line edition, while Enterprise+ adds an advanced dashboard, device history, GPU compute, custom certificates, and a remote diagnostic tool.
OCCT’s main strength is breadth: modular memory tests, adaptive 3D GPU testing, VRAM checks, storage stress testing, and combined CPU-and-GPU power-supply loads sit alongside real-time monitoring and benchmark leaderboards. That makes it a fit for personal validation and technical workflows that need several types of hardware testing in one application. It is less suitable for users seeking memory tuning, or for commercial teams that need to stay on the free Personal edition. Choose OCCT for wide stability coverage and Intel-focused tuning; choose an alternative if your priority is a different processor focus or memory-specific tuning.
