Our verdict on Norton Mobile Security
Norton Mobile Security is a paid mobile cybersecurity product for Android smartphones and tablets, iPhones, and iPads. It is designed for people who want protection against viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, fraudulent websites, phishing messages, and potentially dangerous Wi-Fi networks on a personal mobile device. The product supports Android and iOS, with separate product pages for each platform, and the published plan is limited to one device.
Its strongest point is the breadth of mobile-specific protection. Core coverage includes Scam Protection, Wi-Fi Security, Internet Security, Device Security, and SMS Security. Android users also get App Advisor for Google Play, real-time scanning, and Ransomware Recovery. On iOS, the feature set includes Wi-Fi Security, Device Security, Internet Security, Safe SMS, and Secure Calendar. This makes the product a fit for users who want more than basic malware scanning, particularly those concerned about scams, unsafe links, messages, apps, and calendar-based risks.
According to the vendor’s UK pricing page, Norton Mobile Security costs £29.99 per device per year, billed annually. There is one listed plan, and it covers one Android smartphone or tablet or one iOS smartphone or tablet. That focused structure keeps the purchase straightforward, but it also limits value for households or people seeking coverage across multiple devices. Norton Mobile Security is best suited to an Android or iOS user who needs dedicated mobile protection and ransomware coverage. It is less suitable for anyone looking for desktop protection, a free plan, or broader suite features beyond mobile security.
