Nodion review
A broad managed cloud platform for Git-driven apps, previews, and databases.

Nodion is a managed cloud platform for deploying and operating applications, databases, object storage, persistent volumes, and transactional email. It suits solo developers through enterprise teams that want Git-based deployments, container support, managed data services, and infrastructure controls in one cloud environment. Deployments can use Git repositories, container images, or one-click presets, with isolated regions in Europe, the United States, and Singapore.
Pricing is organized around separate application and database plans. Application tiers range from 256 MB to 2 GB of RAM and use shared CPU. Database tiers cover the same RAM range, with 4 GB to 32 GB of NVMe storage; the 256 MB database plan starts at €1.50 per month. Prices default to EUR excluding VAT and vary by billing country and currency. Nodion does not provide a recurring monthly free allowance, although new accounts can claim starting credit. Teams should therefore evaluate expected application, database, storage, and scaling requirements before choosing a configuration.
Nodion’s strongest fit is a development workflow built around GitHub, GitLab, Gitea, Bitbucket, Docker, or Docker Compose. Automatic deployments from branches and ephemeral previews for branches or pull requests support teams that review changes before release. Managed databases add read replicas, HA standby, and opt-in backups on supported engines, while API keys and scoped API access support deployment automation. Teams needing object storage, volumes, shell access, logs, metrics, and scaling can keep related operations on the same platform. Nodion is less suitable for buyers seeking a recurring free tier, or support beyond business hours, and teams needing backup coverage outside supported engines should consider alternatives.
