NodePing review
Protocol-specific checks and flexible alerts, with monitor capacity tied to plan.

NodePing monitors websites and internet services for businesses, service providers, and teams responsible for availability. Its protocol-specific checks cover HTTP/S sites and content, SSL certificates, ping, TCP ports, DNS, databases, email, SSH, and other services. Regional rechecks, automated diagnostics, REST API access, and public or private status pages extend the service beyond basic site availability checks. It is most relevant to small teams that need several kinds of service checks and configurable alerts, rather than a large monitoring estate on the entry plan.
According to the vendor's monthly pricing, Personal costs $10 for five monitors checked at one-minute intervals, with email, SMS, and Pushover notifications and unlimited users and notifications. Professional costs $25 and raises capacity to 200 monitors with 15-second intervals, adds PagerDuty, webhook, and Slack/HipChat notifications, API access, and 50 public status reports or pages. Premiere costs $80, also lists 200 monitors and 15-second intervals, and adds voice notifications, on-premise monitoring agents, specified or roaming monitoring locations, and 200 public status reports or pages. A 15-day free trial is advertised; there is no free plan.
The main trade-off is the entry tier's five-monitor ceiling and slower interval, which may constrain teams monitoring multiple services or needing quicker checks. Higher plans expand capacity and alerting, while Premiere is the fit for teams requiring on-premise agents or voice alerts. NodePing's platform is web and API, and its integrations include PagerDuty, Slack, HipChat, Pushover, webhooks, Google Chat, Discord, StatusPage.io, VictorOps (Splunk On-Call), and Matrix. Choose it when protocol breadth and alert routing matter; teams seeking more than five checks at the lowest paid tier should compare plans or alternatives before committing.
