Its local document library stores titles and recognized text for searching, while source page images remain available for OCR reruns. The app is particularly suited to people who want document text to stay in the app’s protected local container unless they choose to share it.
OCR verification is the product’s clearest point of distinction. Nivra Scan provides OCR confidence and text-coverage measurements, PDF text-layer verification, and page-aware search across recognized text. These features give users more visibility into how much text was recognized and where it appears in a document. The app also supports importing up to 50 selected photos, preserving source images, and sharing documents through the system share destination. That makes it a focused fit for searchable document capture rather than a broad workflow or integration hub.
The Free plan keeps OCR and searchable PDFs available, with up to five saved documents per calendar month and up to ten pages per document. Lifetime Pro removes local document limits through a non-consumable purchase with no subscription or automatic renewal.
