Nirmata DevSecOps Platform review
A broad Kubernetes DevSecOps platform for teams managing clusters, policies, and workloads.

Nirmata DevSecOps Platform is a Kubernetes management and governance platform for enterprise DevOps and platform teams. It provides a centralized management plane for clusters, workloads, applications, policies, and access across public-cloud, private-cloud, and on-premises environments. Core capabilities include self-service cluster provisioning, cluster lifecycle and add-on management, multi-cluster operations, policy-as-code enforcement, GitOps-based progressive delivery, monitoring, logging, alerts, reporting, and SAML or OIDC access control. It is suited to organizations that need full platform operations rather than a narrow GitOps workflow.
Pricing reflects that broader scope. Nirmata Essentials costs $1,800 USD per month and includes Centralized Reporting, Kyverno Engine Health, Shift-Left Enforcement, and AI Platform Assistant. Nirmata Advanced costs $4,500 USD per month and adds Centralized Policy Sets, Automated Violation Assignment, Self-Service Exceptions, Compliance Automation, and Managed Agents. Nirmata Enterprise includes a Remediation Service Agent, GitHub and GitLab integration, SCIM identity management, BYOK AI, and air-gapped options. A 15-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan. The entry tier can make sense when centralized governance and operations justify the spend, but it is a substantial commitment for teams buying only GitOps delivery.
Its strongest fit is a heterogeneous Kubernetes estate. The platform supports Amazon EKS, Google Kubernetes Engine, Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service, Oracle Kubernetes Engine, VMware, Nutanix, bare metal, public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises environments. Kyverno, REST APIs, SAML, and OIDC extend its policy and access model, while web, API, and self-hosted options support different operating arrangements. Choose Nirmata when cluster provisioning, multi-cluster management, policy enforcement, upgrades, workload operations, and compliance belong in one platform. Choose a more focused GitOps tool when those adjacent capabilities are unnecessary.
Nirmata DevSecOps Platform pros and cons
- Where it wins
- Manages cluster provisioning, lifecycle, workloads, and policies centrally
- Supports EKS, GKE, AKS, OKE, VMware, Nutanix, and bare metal
- Combines GitOps delivery, monitoring, access control, and compliance workflows
- Where it doesn't
- The $1,800 monthly entry price is high for GitOps-only needs
- No free plan is available
- Its broad platform scope may exceed teams seeking focused GitOps tooling
