NEXUS / ESKULAP is a modular hospital information system for inpatient and outpatient care, aimed at hospitals including multispecialty, psychiatric, oncology, long-term-care and commercial facilities. Its inpatient scope includes admission and patient-management workflows, clinical and nursing documentation, medication management and diagnostic referrals. Records can cover histories, examinations, allergies, observations and discharge information, giving hospitals a system that spans several stages of care rather than a narrow documentation tool.

Diagnostic and clinical breadth is a central consideration. The product includes pharmacy and ward-pharmacy management, as well as LIS, RIS and PACS diagnostic modules. Staff can send electronic diagnostic referrals and receive results.
