NexaMail review
A capable email platform for growing teams, but the starting price and integration range limit its value.

NexaMail is a South African email marketing and customer communication platform for smaller teams, service providers and growing organisations. It supports newsletters, campaigns, service updates and transactional email through a web interface and API. Core tools include a drag-and-drop campaign editor, templates, contact lists, tags, segmentation, automated customer journeys, scheduling, personalised messages, reporting, lead-capture forms, pop-ups, consent management and A/B testing.
Pricing is organised by sending volume and includes subscriber, list and automation allowances. Free Trial includes 2,000 emails per month, 1,000 subscribers, 10 mail lists and 10 automations. Starter raises those limits to 10,000 emails, 10,000 subscribers, 20 mail lists and 50 automations per month. Business includes 50,000 emails, 50,000 subscribers, 50 mail lists and unlimited automations. Growth includes 150,000 emails, unlimited subscribers, unlimited mail lists and unlimited automations. Plans are month to month and priced in South African rand; the listed starting point is R199 for 10,000 contacts and 10,000 sends. The Free Trial is not a perpetual free plan.
NexaMail fits teams that want campaign creation and basic customer journeys alongside consent and preference controls. Its ecosystem includes Zapier, Pabbly, WooCommerce and WordPress, while API, SMTP and webhooks provide additional connection options. That combination supports broader workflows, but the native integration range remains narrower than the platform’s email and automation feature set. Choose NexaMail when South African market context, higher-volume plans and flexible connectivity matter. Teams that need a wider catalogue of native integrations or stronger value at the entry level should consider an alternative.
