Network Inventory Advisor review
A focused Windows application for automated discovery, inventory, licensing, and change tracking.

Network Inventory Advisor is an installed IT asset management application for IT administrators, system administrators, small businesses, and managed service providers. It provides automated network discovery, hardware and software inventory, license-code collection, change detection, custom fields, manually created asset nodes, and customizable reporting. Although the application runs on Windows, it can scan Windows, macOS, Linux, and SNMP devices, while also representing non-computer assets such as printers, peripherals, and office furniture.
The published plans are organized by inventoried-node capacity. The 25 nodes plan includes a standard license, Windows application, and 25 inventoried nodes. The 100 nodes plan keeps the standard license and Windows application while expanding coverage to 100 inventoried nodes. National unlimited provides unlimited nodes and can be used throughout the country of purchase. A 15-day trial is also advertised, giving prospective buyers a defined evaluation period before selecting a plan.
Its strongest fit is for teams that need a focused inventory and software-license audit workflow rather than a broad, multi-platform application environment. Automated discovery, installation tracking, license collection, alerts for asset changes, and exports to CSV, SQL, HTML, PDF, XML, and internal formats support recurring administrative and reporting work. The Windows application and self-hosted deployment make it more suitable for organizations comfortable managing installed software locally. Choose it for Windows-centered network visibility with multi-OS and SNMP device scanning; consider another option if the priority is a cloud deployment or a platform-native application beyond Windows.
