Network for Good is Bonterra’s web-based fundraising platform for small and mid-sized nonprofits. It combines donor and supporter record management with donation tracking, reporting, branded donation pages, embeddable forms, fundraising campaigns, peer-to-peer fundraising, recurring giving, email and SMS messaging, events, auctions, volunteer tracking, grant management, and matching. Its free tier makes it a practical fit for organizations that need core fundraising and donor tools without committing to a paid plan, while larger or more data-focused teams may prefer the broader capabilities of Network for Good Intelligence.
The published plans show three options. Free includes the core tier and applies a 3% platform fee on donations. Essentials is a scaled-down version of Network for Good, adds access to Bonterra Que credits, and also applies a 3% platform fee on donations. Network for Good Intelligence includes the full platform and Bonterra Que access while removing the 3% platform fee on donations. A 30-day trial is available, alongside continuing free access. This structure gives smaller nonprofits a low-cost entry point, but organizations processing substantial donation volume should compare the fee model with the Intelligence plan before choosing.
Fundraising breadth is a central strength. Teams can create donation pages and forms, manage campaigns and peer-to-peer efforts, support recurring gifts, send email and SMS messages, segment donors with filters and Bonterra Que, and analyze fundraising data with AI assistance. Bonterra Que can also help draft outreach, build forms, and provide campaign guidance based on organizational and donor information. Network for Good is a strong choice for small nonprofits seeking a broad fundraising hub with a free starting tier. Organizations requiring a non-web deployment or integrations beyond the listed QuickBooks Online connection should look for a different fit.
