netcup Dedicated Servers are KVM-based root servers for businesses, developers, agencies, online shops, gaming communities and other workloads that need administrative control with dedicated resources. Each plan provides guaranteed CPU and RAM, NVMe storage, full root access and self-managed operating system administration through SSH and the Server Control Panel. The service is web-based and includes selectable server locations, snapshots, a remote console, custom image import and export, DDoS protection and a configurable firewall.

The published plans start with RS 1000 G12 at €12.79 per month for 4 dedicated cores, 8 GB DDR5 ECC RAM and 256 GB NVMe storage. RS 2000 G12 costs €21.43 per month and adds 8 dedicated cores, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB NVMe storage. RS 4000 G12 is €39.92 per month with 12 dedicated cores, 32 GB RAM and 1 TB NVMe storage. RS 8000 G12 costs €71.36 per month and provides 16 dedicated cores, 64 GB RAM and 2 TB NVMe storage. All four plans include snapshots and a remote console, making the tiers easy to compare by compute and storage capacity.

The main trade-off is management responsibility. These servers are unmanaged, so customers handle the operating system and server services themselves. That suits teams comfortable with SSH, KVM administration, VNC-based access and firewall configuration, but it is less suitable for buyers seeking a managed hosting service. The product also uses virtualization rather than traditional physical bare-metal servers, which matters when the hosting model itself is a requirement. Choose netcup Dedicated Servers when dedicated virtualized resources, NVMe storage and root access are priorities; consider an alternative when managed operations or physical bare-metal hardware is essential.
