Our verdict on N-EMU
N-EMU is a mobile emulator for iOS and Android that brings 11 retro gaming systems into one library, including PSP, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Super Nintendo, Nintendo DS, NES, Mega Drive, Master System, Game Gear, PC Engine, and WonderSwan. It is aimed at players who want to manage several classic systems in one app while importing their own legally obtained game files. Touch controls can be adjusted, and the app supports connected controllers and keyboards.
The free offering includes a substantial set of convenience features. Save states provide 10 manual slots and one autosave slot, while rewind is available for eight systems. Users can tune video effects, aspect ratios, and audio latency, organize games with search, favorites, collections, and tags, and use cheat codes for nine systems. Google Drive provides manual backups for in-game saves and save states. The app also includes PSP Korean font selection.
