MyWorkDrive is self-hosted file-access software for organizations that want staff to reach existing file shares and cloud repositories remotely. It runs on a Windows Server the organization controls and provides access to customer storage rather than hosting file content itself. Browser access, mapped drives for Windows and macOS, and mobile apps for iOS and Android give businesses several ways to reach files. It is aimed at small businesses through enterprises with repositories already in place; organizations seeking a new hosted storage service should look elsewhere.

Its repository and identity connections are central to the product’s fit. MyWorkDrive connects to SMB/NAS, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure Files, Azure Blob Storage and Amazon S3. Identity options include Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and SAML providers, with multi-factor authentication and single sign-on support. File and login auditing can export to Syslog, while DLP controls include watermarking and download restrictions. Optional Office Online or ONLYOFFICE enables browser editing. This breadth suits organizations that want remote access while retaining existing storage and permissions; it may be more infrastructure than needed for teams starting from scratch.

According to the vendor’s pricing page, the product has no free plan and offers a 14-day free trial. Published plans include Starter at $1,200 annually, Business at $300 monthly or $2,999 annually, and Enterprise at $600 monthly or $5,999 annually. The listed per-user rates are $5 per month on annual plans and $6 per month on monthly plans. Previous-version restore is more narrowly scoped: it requires an Enterprise license, Windows Volume Shadow Copy snapshots, and supported SMB/Active Directory configuration. Choose MyWorkDrive if control of existing repositories and remote access are priorities; consider alternatives if you need storage hosting or want a simpler service without managed server infrastructure.
