MyWikis provides managed hosting for MediaWiki websites, covering personal, business, and enterprise wiki projects. Its plans include hosted wikis with unlimited pages and users, HTTPS, free subdomains, privacy controls, extensions, automatic upgrades, backups, and technical support. The Basics plan is aimed at simpler projects, with one included wiki, 10 GB of file storage, the latest LTS MediaWiki version, and automatic backups. Pro keeps one wiki and adds 25 GB of storage, VisualEditor, and enhanced search. Quantum includes two wikis, 100 GB of storage, Semantic MediaWiki, Matomo Analytics, basic SSO, and priority technical support. Ultra is designed for high-traffic or highly customized wikis, with three wikis, 1 TB or more of storage, advanced and custom SSO, HTTP authentication or IP allowlists, and dedicated options.
The main strength is the combination of managed maintenance and enterprise access controls. Automatic MediaWiki upgrades and daily automatic backups address recurring administration work, while CirrusSearch provides enhanced search. SSO support spans SAML, LDAP, OAuth, OpenID, and Shibboleth, with two-factor authentication also available. The self-service wiki management portal gives customers a way to manage their hosted environments, and higher tiers extend the platform beyond basic documentation through Semantic MediaWiki and analytics.
MyWikis suits teams that want MediaWiki without managing hosting infrastructure themselves, especially organizations that need SSO, multiple wikis, semantic content, or higher storage limits. It is less suitable for buyers seeking a free option, a non-web application, or support through channels other than tickets. Smaller personal projects can stay with Basics, while teams needing editing and search improvements can consider Pro. Quantum fits structured knowledge bases and organizations that need analytics or basic SSO; Ultra is the clearer choice for high-traffic, highly customized, or dedicated deployments.
