mymind is a private personal knowledge and bookmarking app for saving notes, articles, images, videos, quotes, and other references. It is designed for designers, writers, marketers, researchers, developers, and anyone who wants to remember information without manually filing every item. Content can be captured from browsers, mobile sharing, screenshots, and browser extensions, while quick notes and Focus Mode support longer drafts. Search combines keywords with color, brand, and date filters, giving the product a visual approach to organizing personal research.

The pricing structure moves from basic visual bookmarking to broader AI-assisted organization. The Bookmarker plan costs $4.99 per month and includes visual bookmarking with no card limit. Student of Life costs $7.99 per month or $79 per year and adds unlimited cards, AI image tagging, image text recognition, Smart Spaces, Serendipity, and private storage. Mastermind costs $12.99 per month or $129 per year and adds everything in Student of Life, plus Advanced AI, Reading Mode, Article Backup, video support, and AI summaries. A free guest plan is also available, while Newton is listed at $299 per year.

Platform coverage is a practical strength: mymind supports the web, macOS, iOS, Android, and a Chrome extension, with browser connections for Chrome, Brave, Safari, and Edge. Capture includes pages, images, highlights, quotes, mobile shares, and screenshots, so it fits research-heavy workflows that move between devices. The trade-off is focus. mymind is more compelling as a private visual reference library with AI organization than as a broad, structured note-taking workspace. Choose it for collecting and rediscovering web content; consider another category of tool if your priority is a more conventional notes-first workflow.

mymind pros and cons

    • AI image tagging, image text recognition, and saved-content summaries
    • Web, mobile, desktop, and browser-extension capture options
  • Where it doesn't
    • The Bookmarker plan focuses on visual bookmarking rather than broader AI tools
    • Advanced AI features start at the Mastermind plan
    • Its strongest workflow centers on saved references, not general-purpose note-taking
