myMDM is an open-source unified endpoint management platform for organizations managing Apple, Windows, Android, Linux, ChromeOS, and cloud virtual machines. Its self-hosted core brings enrollment, device policies, app management, identity federation, compliance controls, and a web console together. That breadth makes it relevant to teams seeking one system across mixed operating systems, especially those comfortable operating software themselves.

Platform coverage is paired with enrollment routes for Apple Business Manager and Apple School Manager, Android Zero-Touch, and Windows Autopilot. The policy engine covers passcodes, Wi-Fi, VPN, restrictions, OS updates, compliance, and geofencing. Application deployment spans Apple, Google Play, enterprise catalogs, and AppConfig.org. LDAP/AD, SAML, OIDC, and SCIM support identity federation; webhooks, an Open API, and a gRPC plugin SDK offer extension paths. This is a broad control surface rather than a narrow device-only tool.

The self-hosted core is released under AGPL-3.0 and can run with Docker or Kubernetes. The listed managed cloud tiers are Free, Pro, and Enterprise: Free covers up to 25 devices, all six platforms, core MDM policies, basic app management, and community support. Pro adds unlimited devices, AI fleet automation, DEX analytics, third-party patching, MTD integration, and identity federation. Enterprise adds MSP hierarchy, white-labeling, custom domain, ZTNA posture API, per-app VPN, SLA and dedicated support, and on-premises deployment. The cloud offering is marked as coming soon, so teams wanting a ready managed service should wait; teams able to self-host and seeking wide platform coverage have a clearer fit.
