MyGet is a hosted package manager for storing, publishing, governing, and consuming software packages. It supports public, private, and community feeds for development teams, individual developers, and enterprise organizations. The service is available through web and API access, with endpoints for NuGet, npm, Bower, Maven, PHP Composer, VSIX, Python, and RubyGems. Teams can also proxy or mirror upstream repositories, control feed access, and configure package-retention rules.

Pricing is structured across Developer, Team, and Enterprise plans, with a 14-day trial. Developer costs $15 per month or $165 per year and includes one private feed, one private contributor, 500 MB of storage, and a 500 MB maximum package size. Team costs $40 per month or $440 per year, expanding capacity to five private feeds, five private contributors, and 2 GB of storage. It also adds Build Services, License Governance, and Vulnerability Management. Enterprise costs $1,395 per year and includes unlimited private feeds, dedicated Azure infrastructure, custom branding, a custom subdomain, and user and quota management.

MyGet fits teams that need hosted package feeds across several established development ecosystems rather than a repository focused on one language. Source-control integrations include GitHub, Assembla, Visual Studio Team Services, and Bitbucket, while Octopus Deploy is also supported. Its package governance features give the Team plan a broader operational role than simple storage, particularly where retention, access control, licensing, and vulnerability management matter. The product is less suitable for organizations centered on container artifacts or teams that require a free plan. Choose MyGet for low-cost hosted feeds across its supported formats; consider an alternative when container workflows are central.
