Our verdict on mood.site
mood.site is a web-based mood board tool for collecting, arranging, and sharing images through unique URLs. It suits designers, creative teams, presenters, and anyone who needs a visual reference board that can be shared quickly. Boards can be created without an account, with images added by dragging, pasting, or uploading. Viewers can see changes through real-time syncing, while customizable gallery and feed layouts support different presentation styles.
The free plan includes image galleries, sharing, no account requirement, and no stated upload limit for free boards. Premium costs $7 USD as a one-time fee per board and adds a custom URL, private boards, captions, GIFs and video, a custom logo, and TV Mode. Pro gives owned and created boards premium features, unlimited premium boards, dashboard features, and collections for organizing multiple projects. That structure is practical for occasional boards, while users managing several premium boards will need to assess whether the Pro arrangement fits their workflow.
Its strongest distinction is the combination of lightweight collection and presentation features. Users can rearrange images, add custom backgrounds and titles, control access with view keys, and display boards through animated TV Mode visualizations. These options make mood.site more suitable for shareable visual presentations than a basic image gallery. It is a good fit for fast, browser-based boards and client-facing references; teams needing native apps, broader integrations, or defined export workflows should consider a different tool.
