Our verdict on Mobile Message
Mobile Message is an online SMS platform for Australian organisations, including churches. It supports bulk messages to contact lists, contact groups, personalised content, scheduled sends, sender IDs, delivery tracking and two-way replies through a dedicated virtual number. Churches can use it for congregation updates, volunteer or youth groups, event coordination and service reminders, while shared inboxes help teams manage replies in one place.
Pricing is prepaid and usage-based rather than subscription-based. The published plans show AUD 0.04 per message for 500–999 credits, AUD 0.035 for 1,000–9,999, AUD 0.03 for 10,000–99,999, AUD 0.025 for 100,000–999,999 and AUD 0.02 for 1,000,000+ credits. Credits do not expire, which suits organisations with uneven messaging schedules. There is no free plan, and standard rates exclude GST. This structure fits churches that want costs to follow message volume rather than a recurring monthly tier.
