Meter Network is a managed network-as-a-service offering for businesses with offices, warehouses, schools, retail stores, or other commercial sites. It combines Meter-designed firewalls, switches, access points, and software with network design, ISP procurement and management, and ongoing support. Teams can manage multiple locations through a dashboard with client, host, topology, and log insights. Its scope makes it a fit for mid-market and enterprise organizations looking for managed multisite networking rather than a standalone network configuration tool.

The service covers network configuration for VLANs, SSIDs, routing, and rate limits, alongside firewall controls, DNS security, client VPN, AutoVPN, and IPsec tunnels. ISP management includes automatic failover, while real-time monitoring, alerts, and troubleshooting provide operational visibility. A Meter API can query network, hardware, and client data. This breadth suits organizations that want networking, security, and ISP operations under one service; teams needing only a narrow networking feature set may find its managed scope unnecessary.

According to the vendor’s published plans, Professional includes Meter hardware and software, security, support and maintenance, network design, and network/ISP management, but not installation. Premium adds installation and rollout. Pricing is based on square footage and scope, and interested buyers need to contact sales for a quote. Deployment is cloud-based, with web and API access; support channels include email, chat, phone, tickets, and documentation, with 24/7 support. Choose Meter if you want design and ongoing operations across sites, especially when installation is needed; consider another approach if transparent fixed pricing or self-managed deployment is central.
