MetaCDN is a content delivery network and live-streaming service for websites, online media, and developers. It combines EdgeCast, Amazon, and Fastly, then routes visitors according to provider performance and regional availability. Website acceleration supports push and pull delivery, while video encoding and delivery address streaming use cases. Web management and REST API access make it suitable for teams managing sites, content, media, or live streaming across multiple properties.

Pricing is organized by accelerated sites and included usage equivalents. Basic costs $20 per month when billed monthly or $16 per month when billed annually and covers 1 site accelerated, equivalent to 50 GB per month. Lite costs $50 monthly or $39 monthly when billed annually and covers 3 sites, equivalent to 500 GB per month. Pro costs $100 monthly or $79 monthly when billed annually and covers 6 sites, equivalent to 1,100 GB per month. Larger enterprise plans are available by contacting the vendor. There is no permanent free plan, although the service offers a free trial.

The strongest fit is a team that values provider redundancy more than broad single-CDN feature coverage. Automatic DNS failover, performance-based routing, content purge, daily usage and website performance reporting, and integrations for WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, and PrestaShop support operational delivery workflows. The REST API also covers sites, content, media, and live streaming. However, MetaCDN does not provide image optimization, origin shield, edge compute, or real-time logs. Basic lists 40 points of presence, while Lite and Pro list 120+; teams needing those omitted capabilities or wider general-purpose CDN tooling should consider an alternative.
