Our verdict on Merlin
Merlin is Ikosoft’s cloud management platform for hair salons, beauty salons, spas, nail bars and salon groups. It brings customer records, appointment scheduling, automatic reminders, checkout, invoicing, payments, inventory, reporting, marketing communications and loyalty into one web-based system. Multi-site and franchise management make it relevant to operators coordinating several locations, while customer segmentation and targeted promotions support ongoing client communications. Its stated fit spans small, mid-market and enterprise businesses, although the feature mix is especially aligned with salons prioritizing customer operations.
The paid packages increase the operational scope in clear steps. Discovery Pack includes Merlin Light software, online appointments with a payment option, plus premium support and training. Essential Pack adds Merlin Pro software and iMerlin tablet software while retaining online appointments, payment capability, support and training. The All-Inclusive Package keeps those elements and adds Nomad and e-gift cards. This structure lets a salon choose between core software, a broader Pro and tablet setup, or a package with additional mobility and gifting tools.
