Our verdict on Merchkit
Merchkit is an AI-powered product catalog accelerator for ecommerce teams, retailers, distributors, and brands. It ingests product data from spreadsheets, supplier files, documents, images, APIs, and commerce platforms, then enriches and standardizes attributes for downstream use. Its scope covers channel-specific content generation, product data validation, quality scoring, digital asset generation, multilingual localization, unit conversion, approval workflows, and brand voice controls. Small, mid-market, and enterprise teams can use it for catalog operations and channel distribution.
Pricing creates a clear dividing line between the plans. Core costs $999 per month and includes AI attribute enrichment, CSV import and export, Shopify integration, one channel output, one user seat, and email support. Growth adds multiple channel outputs, additional integrations, professional services, and priority Slack support, with custom pricing. Scale adds unlimited channel outputs, unlimited integrations, unlimited users, a dedicated customer success manager, custom onboarding and training, and an enterprise SLA, also with custom pricing.
