Our verdict on Mementoir
Mementoir turns selected camera-roll photos into multi-page scrapbook-style travel journals on iOS and Android. It is aimed at mobile users who want a composed journal from trip photos rather than a blank page to design from scratch. The app arranges photos and adds decorative elements such as washi tape, polaroid frames and torn-paper effects. Users can move and resize photos, edit captions, and add handwritten-style annotations with arrows, shapes, stickers, freehand drawing and subject cutouts.
Its standout feature is automatic composition: Mementoir builds journal pages from selected photos, with AI-assisted compositions available on Pro. AI can also generate captions and trip narration. This makes the product a fit for people who value a quick starting layout and scrapbook embellishments in one mobile app. It is less suited to users seeking a desktop workflow or a template-led editor; templates are not part of the listed feature set.
The Free plan includes three starter journals. Mementoir Pro adds unlimited journals, unlimited pages per journal, unlimited AI Magic composes and watermark-free exports.
