Our verdict on McKissock Learning
McKissock Learning provides continuing education, qualifying education and upgrade courses for appraisers, real estate agents, engineers, home inspectors and land surveyors. It is particularly suited to appraisal professionals who need state- or board-approved coursework for education and renewal requirements. The catalog combines self-paced online courses with livestream classes, webinars and on-site instruction in select states, giving learners several ways to complete required study. Appraisal members also receive goal tracking, certificate storage and personalized course recommendations.
The published plans are organized around renewal terms: Annual Renewal States and Multi-Year Renewal States. Both plans provide unlimited access to appraisal continuing-education courses, while prices and available options vary by state and membership term. Courses and memberships are sold online, and the platform operates through the web rather than offering a separately listed native desktop or mobile application. Buyers should review the applicable state requirements and renewal option before choosing a membership.
McKissock’s strongest fit is its appraisal specialization and combination of approved content, multiple delivery formats and license-related recordkeeping. Email instructor assistance and phone and email support provide direct help during enrollment or coursework. The platform is less suitable for organizations seeking broad corporate training, a free entry tier or coverage beyond its listed professions. Learners who need appraisal CE, qualifying education or upgrades in supported states should find the focused catalog relevant; those needing a wider professional-training marketplace or consistently available in-person classes should consider alternatives with broader scope or location coverage.
