Matrify is a web-based database application for organizing projects, contacts, inventory, customers, sales and other structured information. It is aimed at individuals, organizations and small teams that need more structure than spreadsheets without adopting a broader application-building platform. Users can create custom tables and columns, link records within or across tables, apply validation rules, search and filter data, and share tables with configurable permissions. Matrify is available through cloud hosting or downloadable self-hosted server software, with web, desktop, mobile and API access.

Pricing is organized around self-hosted licenses rather than per-user monthly billing. The Free Edition supports 1–3 users and up to 300 records at no cost. The Starter Annual License covers 1–10 users at $10 per license annually and includes maintenance; the Starter Perpetual License costs $20 per license and includes a free year of maintenance. Standard plans cover larger groups: 11–15 users cost $500 annually or $1,000 perpetually, while 16–25 users cost $1,000 annually or $2,000 perpetually. The Standard Annual License for 26–50 users costs $2,000 per license annually and includes maintenance.

Matrify’s strongest fit is structured record management with relational links, data-quality constraints and permission controls. CSV import and export, XML database storage and a REST API support moving data in and out of the system, while shareable filters help teams work with focused views. Its scope is narrower than platforms that combine databases with app interfaces, automation, AI features or broad integrations. Choose Matrify when self-hosting, straightforward relational data and a free small-team edition matter most. Consider an alternative if your workflow depends on visual internal apps, automated processes, AI assistance or a wider integration ecosystem.
