MapTrack is a cloud asset tracking platform for construction, civil, mining, facilities and field-service teams. It manages tools, equipment, plant and fleet through an asset register with locations, assignments and movement history. QR and barcode scanning, check-in/check-out, digital forms, inspections, audits and custody assignments support day-to-day control across sites. The platform runs on web, iOS and Android, with selected offline workflows, and all plans include unlimited users.
Pricing is based on tracked assets rather than users, with monthly rates in AUD ex GST. Standard — Tools & Equipment starts at AUD 1 per asset per month and includes the asset register, scanning, up to 3 AI forms and checklists, documents, photos, audit history, inventory, parts and consumables. Standard — Fleet, Plant & Heavy Machinery costs AUD 8 per asset per month and adds GPS and Bluetooth hardware add-ons. Pro — Tools & Equipment is AUD 1.60 per asset per month, adding reservations, planning, work orders, service schedules, compliance workflows, API, webhooks and SSO. Pro — Fleet, Plant & Heavy Machinery is AUD 12 per asset per month and adds priority support and onboarding. Enterprise provides custom asset mix and volume pricing, migration, dedicated customer success, custom data residency and SLA support. A 30-day free trial is available.
MapTrack’s strongest fit is operationally complex field equipment. GPS tracking, geofences, movement history, maintenance scheduling and work orders extend the product beyond a basic inventory register, while integrations include Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, Geotab, Xero, SAP Asset Management, Oracle Maintenance, Pronto Xi, IBM Maximo and Microsoft Dynamics 365. API and OEM or telematics integrations support broader systems alignment. Choose MapTrack when field teams need asset control, inspections and maintenance in one system. It is less suited to buyers seeking a free plan or a general-purpose tracker without equipment-specific workflows.
