Maptitude is mapping and geographic information system software for sales, marketing, operations, logistics, site selection, government organizations, analysts, and GIS professionals. It brings together geocoding, demographic and Census/ACS analysis, drive-time rings, route planning, territory creation and balancing, facility location, thematic mapping, and GIS data import. The product is available as offline Windows desktop software and as Maptitude Online, a browser-based service for uploading, analyzing, and sharing maps.

Pricing is organized around four plans. Maptitude Desktop Subscription costs $795 per user per year and includes offline desktop mapping and GIS, one country package, and phone and email support. Maptitude Desktop No Subscription costs $1,095 per user and includes a 10-year license, offline operation, and one country package. Maptitude Online costs $795 per user per year and includes browser-based mapping and GIS, 20 GB of storage, and 100,000 map loads. Maptitude Enterprise Subscription costs $1,095 per user per year and adds corporate deployment and packaging, with tiered pricing for larger deployments. A 30-day free trial is available.

Its main advantage is breadth: teams can move from demographic analysis to drive-time modeling, territory optimization, routing, market-area analysis, and map sharing in one product. Data connections span Excel, Access, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, ODBC, Esri Shapefile, KML/KMZ, GeoJSON, MapPoint PTM, C#/.NET, Python, R, VBA/COM, and Bing. Offline processing suits desktop GIS work, while the online option supports browser access and collaboration. Maptitude fits established teams that need a wide location-analysis toolkit and can budget for per-user licensing. Smaller teams seeking a free product, or users needing a simple mapping tool rather than broad GIS and planning functions, should consider a narrower option.
