Mapotic is an online mapping platform for businesses, organizations, and individuals that need interactive maps, location-based applications, or live data visualizations. Map Builder supports places, custom fields, categories, data layers, filters, routes, polygons, comments, ratings, privacy controls, and user contributions. Live Data Maps adds GPS, telemetry, and tracking-data visualization. The platform also supports website embeds, API-based data management, and branded iOS and Android mobile apps, making it relevant for tourism, civic projects, community maps, and operational location data.
Pricing is structured across Map Builder and Live Data Maps offerings. Map Builder Free is forever free and includes 100 places, data layers, filters, ratings, and comments. Mapotic stands out when a project needs more than a static map: live updates, structured layers, contributions, moderation, and branded distribution are all part of the product range. Integrations include Google Sheets, Tracking and Telemetry, WordPress, and the Mapotic API, while iframe embedding supports website publication. The trade-off is that the most specialized capabilities are reserved for higher tiers, so a simple map may be better served by the free plan, while teams needing mobile apps, custom authentication, or advanced live-data capacity should consider the paid options.
