Manifest review
A low-cost gateway for teams routing models across cloud, local, and custom endpoints.

Manifest is an open-source LLM gateway for AI builders, teams, and platforms that need one endpoint for connecting models and providers. Its OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible endpoint can connect API keys, subscriptions, local models, and custom endpoints. Requests can be routed across models and providers, retried through fallback chains, repaired with Autofix, and monitored for cost, tokens, latency, and errors. The product is available through Manifest Cloud or as a self-hosted Docker deployment.
The Free plan provides Manifest Cloud or self-hosting with Docker, unlimited agents, all providers with no restrictions, Autofix, budget alerts and notifications, and community support through Discord. Pro costs $19 per month on monthly billing and adds Manifest Cloud hosting, unlimited routed requests, 365 days of dashboard retention, and basic support. Enterprise supports on-premise, VPC, or private cloud deployment, with multiple seats, team management, SSO / SAML, audit logs, custom retention, and a contractual uptime SLA. This structure makes the Free plan a practical starting point for small teams that can manage deployment themselves, while Pro favors teams that want hosted delivery.
Manifest’s strongest fit is for teams that need routing and operational controls without giving up access to local models or custom endpoints. Usage, cost, token, latency, and error monitoring provides visibility, while spend alerts and blocking limits per harness help control consumption. The single-endpoint approach can simplify applications connecting to multiple providers, and automatic fallback chains address provider or model failures. Teams needing self-hosting should stay with Free or evaluate Enterprise, since Pro is hosted on Manifest Cloud. Organizations requiring SSO / SAML, audit logs, team management, custom retention, or a contractual uptime SLA should choose Enterprise rather than the lower tiers.
