Our verdict on MakeAI CV
MakeAI CV is a web-based resume builder for job seekers who want to create, edit, format, and export a CV without paying for PDF downloads. It offers eight templates, customizable colors and fonts, ATS-oriented layouts, live preview, automatic page breaks, and A4 formatting. Users can also import an existing resume from PDF and convert it into an editable CV. Guest use is supported, with CV data stored in the browser.
The free Starter plan includes one saved CV, all eight templates, custom colors and fonts, unlimited PDF downloads without a watermark, and one free AI resume import. The pricing page also presents Pro with unlimited saved CVs and cover letters, unlimited AI writing and job tailoring, tailored AI cover letters, and PDF resume import. A 7-Day Pass is shown with full Pro access for seven days and no auto-renewal. However, the Terms of Service state that MakeAICV is completely free, does not currently sell plans or take payments, and that AI writing, job tailoring, and AI cover-letter generation are switched off. Buyers should therefore treat the displayed paid tiers as a plan structure rather than an active paid requirement.
