Majestic is a web-based SEO toolset centered on backlink and link intelligence research. It is designed for SEO professionals, agencies, marketers and site owners who need to examine referring domains, link context, topical authority and competitor link profiles. Site Explorer, Keyword Checker, Bulk Backlink Checker and backlink reports cover core research workflows, while Rank Tracker connects to Google Search Console. The product is available on the web and through an API, with Lite, Pro and API plans plus limited-access free accounts.
Its strongest area is backlink analysis depth. The Fresh Index supports current link research, while the Historic Index adds historical backlink analysis on the Pro plan. Site Comparator can compare backlink profiles for up to 10 domains, and Clique Hunter identifies domains linking to competitors. Link Graph, Link Context, filtering, exports and PDF reporting add useful ways to inspect and communicate findings.
