MailWizz is self-hosted email marketing software for organizations that want to install and operate campaigns on their own server. It covers subscriber and email-list management, audience segmentation, regular, autoresponder and recurring campaigns, landing pages, A/B testing, email-template builders and reporting. The product also supports REST APIs and SDKs, making it a fit for technical teams, custom applications and SaaS businesses that need campaign functionality under their own operational control.

The self-hosted model is central to MailWizz’s value—and its onboarding requirement. Teams need to handle installation and ongoing operation on their own server rather than adopting a fully managed email service. Delivery-server, bounce-server and feedback-loop management give administrators more control over sending infrastructure, while integrations with Amazon SES, SendGrid, MailGun, SparkPost, ElasticEmail and PepiPost provide options for connecting external email providers. Infrastructure integrations include DigitalOcean, Linode, Google Cloud, Amazon AWS, OVH and Contabo.

MailWizz is a paid product with subscription and lifetime licensing options, and the vendor states that it does not offer free trials. Its feature set suits teams that value control, automation depth and API access more than a managed onboarding experience. Choose it when your organization can operate self-hosted software and wants campaign, landing-page and infrastructure controls in one system. A managed email marketing service may be a better fit for teams that want the provider to handle installation and server operations.

    • More infrastructure-focused than turnkey email marketing tools
