Our verdict on Mailcoach
Mailcoach is an email marketing platform for creators, developers, and businesses managing newsletters, automated sequences, and transactional email. Its feature set covers newsletter campaigns, subscriber lists, subscription forms, tagging, segmentation, scheduling, analytics, split testing, multi-step automations, drip campaigns, and newsletter archives. Teams can use the hosted service through the web, deploy the self-hosted edition on their own infrastructure, or connect through the API.
The hosted Pay-as-you-go plan costs €9.99 per month when billed monthly and includes 2,000 emails. It also includes unlimited contacts, lists, and automations, while additional charges apply based on emails sent. The published plan supports an unlimited-send model through usage-based charges, rather than imposing a fixed sending cap. A 14-day free trial provides an evaluation period, but there is no free plan. VAT is excluded from the stated price.
Mailcoach fits teams that want campaign management and automation alongside developer access. Its REST API, PHP and Laravel SDKs, and webhooks support custom applications and workflows. Email delivery can connect with Postmark, Mailgun, Brevo, Amazon SES, SendGrid, Resend, or SMTP. The product also supports custom domains for sending emails and provides both hosted and self-hosted deployment options. Choose Mailcoach if you need broad newsletter and automation features with API access at a €9.99 monthly starting point. Consider another platform if a permanent free plan or a single fixed price for higher sending volumes is central to your buying decision.
