LumiFind is a desktop search application from MIDILLI Tech for people who need to find information across files, email and media on Windows, macOS or Linux. It indexes file contents and metadata, then supports semantic queries with multilingual search and typo tolerance. Its scope suits users with mixed document collections, scanned material or media archives; it is less compelling for someone seeking only a basic filename search.

The breadth of searchable content is its clearest distinction. LumiFind can search document and source-code contents, index EML and MSG messages with attachments, and use OCR for scanned PDFs and images. Pro Edition adds image analysis, audio search, video frame detection and custom AI models. Indexing can include local folders, mapped network drives, NAS and synced cloud storage, including Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive. Incremental analysis and automatic file watching keep indexed content current, with pause and resume controls. Search and indexing run locally, while a self-hosted deployment is also listed.

According to the vendor's pricing page, Document Edition costs €59 one time and Pro Edition costs €89 one time, each for one device and with a lifetime license plus one year of updates. Family Pro is €159 for shared analysis and up to three simultaneous devices; Team Pro is €499 for team collaboration and up to ten. The five-day Pro trial is paid, and there is no free plan. Enterprise Edition includes custom device limits, Docker deployment, a web interface with user management, SSO and dedicated support. Pick LumiFind if broad media and email indexing across desktop platforms justifies an upfront purchase; look elsewhere if you need a free option or ongoing updates included beyond the stated first year.
